Colonel Mike Borders, U.S. Army Retired. Col. Borders was presented the Hometown Hero Award at the annual “Champion for Children” Awards Gala on September 28th, 2023.
An optional dinner before the meeting is available with ordering from the menu in the large banquet room from 5-6 PM. You are invited and welcome to attend the dinner and the meeting, or just the meeting (attendance is free). Guests are requested to RSVP so that we can plan appropriately.
Join us at the Island View Restaurant on Thursday December 14, 2023 as we celebrate this joyous festive season. Dinner off the menu will be from 5:00 – 6:00pm. Special dessert will be provided by the Highlands County Republican Party. Festivities and entertainment will follow.
Our Highlands County “Republican Family” has been growing by leaps and bounds and this will be a wonderful opportunity for the old and new members to mix and mingle and get to know each other better. Your own family and friends are also welcome to join us in this festive event. Please come dressed in your favorite holiday apparel and be ready to have a great time.
Our regular business meetings will resume on January 11, 2024.
