Our Organization

The Highlands County Republican Executive Committee is the local chapter of the Republican Party. It is dedicated to electing conservative candidates and promoting Republican values in Highlands County. We also inform residents about candidates and ways to support President Trump’s America First agenda.

Our mission is to serve as the umbrella organization for all GOP activities leading to the election of qualified, loyal Republicans. We achieve this through education, communication, outreach, and motivating the electorate.

Our vision is to elect a majority of public officials in Highlands County who share the core Republican beliefs of limited government, individual responsibility, entrepreneurial capitalism, equitable tax policies, common-sense environmental practices, and compassionate conservatism.

Our objectives include:

• Increasing the Republican voter base by developing registration and outreach programs.
• Providing opportunities to educate the electorate through political events and forums.
• Developing a comprehensive contact database of registered Republicans in Highlands County to facilitate voter outreach and inform them of important issues.
• Identifying and supporting qualified Republicans to run for office.
• Promoting the election of Republicans by providing essential in-kind support for successful campaigns.
